TTT: Best book of 2018 so far

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018!

This week’s theme is Top TEN Best Books I’ve Read In 2018 (So Far). Note that they are books that I read and not necessarily published in 2018. I have read 70 books till this point and I didn’t give many stars. Here are my top 10 reads:

I am keeping this limited to 10 books because that’s the challenge, so these are my 10 fav book up to this moment. I just noticed that many authors were new to me and I only read their works this year. Fredrik Backman is now a favorite author which is so cool. Also, I kept this short as I have reviewed each book in a post alone and you can find them in my blog somewhere.

Did you discover a new favorite author? Do you give many 5 stars ratings?
If you did this TTT leave a link so I can see your books and increase the growth spurt of my tbr! Happy reading everyone ❤

  1. Great list! I haven’t read any Fredrik Backman yet, but I have Bear Town on my TBR and I’m really excited to read it 🙂

  2. I LOVE, LOVE that you have 3 Backman books on your list!! If I would have read Beartown or Ove this year, they would be on my list. He’s one of my favorites!

  3. I also just discovered Fredrik Backman this year, with A Man Called Ove, and I’m totally in love. I have a few more of his books siting on my shelf that I need to make time to read.

  4. Yes, he is a favorite of mine. I have read all of them and I only didn’t care for one (Britt-Marie- I had a hard time getting into that one). I will read anything by him though!

  6. A thousand perfect notes was surprisingly good and I went into it super critical because I thought people were just sugar coating the reviews for the author, but definitely not, she’s awesome and she can write!

  7. I kept postponing it too then I got the new 10th edition cover and if that couldn’t force me to read the story then nothing can. I loved it and it is easy to read so enjoy it ❤

  9. Hamad! I’ve read NONE of your favorite books! 😦 Although Illuminae is pretty high on my TBR… I’m embarrassed. Do you even still want to be friends?!

Also, I’m going to devour What If It’s Us however/whenever I get it 😀
