“Michael was mint chocolate chip for her. She could try other flavors, but he’d always be her favorite.”
🌟 I don’t know where to start because I have been thinking on how to rate and review this for almost 3 days now. I usually have clear thoughts and ideas when I finish a book but this book left me confused because I both loved and hated it.
🌟 The cover is good, the writing still is easy to read and gripping, I mean I finished this in 1 day so that sure is good. I don’t like to focus on the negative side of a books unless it sucks but I feel that I need to explain a bit why this is not a 5 stars for me:
🌟 The Cliches: I am not big on romance novels and from the few books I have read I don’t think they are that hard to write, Just use the following elements which were found in this book:
– The small cute girl, usually smart, rocks at sex but shy and doesn’t know it!
– The handsome guy who is perfect, smart, caring, athletic and have abs (the more the better so 8 is better than 6).
– Instalove but this is optional.
– Add another guy to the equation to stir things up.
– A misunderstanding so they can leave each other.
– Cool families.
– A Dark past for the guy’s background and that’s it mainly.
🌟 After I finished this I thought that it didn’t add to me anything and that I like books to be deeper, THAT WAS SO WRONG. After thinking about it more and more, it actually added things to me, I learned more about Asperger and health systems. It was not shallow so I apologize for those thoughts.
🌟 Stella’s father was cool at first and then he turns into an A-hole, why???
🌟 One of the things that bothered me most is when Character A does something and our hero is furious and can’t understand it and wants to get into a fight with said character only to do the same thing later on. I can’t stand Double standards!
🌟 Well, those are the things that irked me most, other than that it had good writing, good story-line (kind of) and steamy scenes for fans of that.
“All the things that make you different make you perfect.”
🌟 Summary: I think TKQ is a good book that could have been better if some few details were improved but there was not a big problem in it so as to had me DNF it! My final Rating is 3.5 stars.
🌟 Prescription: For fans of Romance novels!
