β€œThey had only ever discussed books but what, in this life, is more personal than books?”

🌟 This book is like wine, the more you wait before you get to it the better it becomes. I don’t even drink but I wanted to sound poetic and I failed miserably xD. What I am trying to say is that this book is all about books and the book industry that you will be able to relate to and enjoy the more you know this world and its details.

β€œSometimes books don’t find us until the right time.”

🌟 The book starts with A.J. Fikry as a grumpy tiresome character. I thought that either I was missing something or that it is going to grow on me as A Man Called Ove did! It was the later. I belive that this was a very very good book but it has one obvious problem: It is a rushed book. I mean there are some jumping in the timeline and some events happen too quickly and characters change suddenly which makes it kind of hard to believe sometimes!

🌟 The writing however, was great! I didn’t expect to highlight this many quotes and to finish this very quickly!

β€œThe words you can’t find, you borrow.
We read to know we’re not alone. We read because we are alone. We read and we are not alone.”

🌟 I feel like it is hard to talk about this without spoilers specially that it was a short book. But even plot-wise it was great. It talked about many things that we all came across in the reading community such as ghost writing, the stigma against YA books, children books, Fiction I ended up giving it 4 out of 5 stars!

🌟 Summary: A great book that is all about books with great characters, plot and writing. I can only criticize the rushed writing which could have been slower with a book of this small size. Still very enjoyable and relatable.

🌟 Prescription: For those who call themselves a bookworm!
