๐ I like data, I like numbers and trivia. I am always looking for new things to discover and so I decided to share it with you in this new mini series all about book facts. This is from data all over the internet or data that I personally investigated. Here are the facts for this week:
๐ There are ~ 130 Million books in the world.
I finished 300 so I only have 129,999,700 to go…
๐ Rumor has it that former American President Theodore Roosevelt read one book a day.
His Goodreads Challengeย must be looking good!
๐ A study found that you are 2 ยฝ times less likely to be diagnosed with Alzheimerโs in later life if you read regularly.
I am a doctor and I recommend reading 100%
๐ The longest sentence ever printed is 823 words. Itโs a legit sentence that exists inย Victor Hugoโs Les Miserables.
I think my rant sentences are longer, no wonder it is called Miserables!
๐ One in five adults around the world canโt read or write, with the highest rates in South and West Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.
๐ According to Google Stephen King wrote more than 80 books!
๐ As of 2018, Stephen King’s net worth is $400 million dollars
I happily contributed to 20$ of those ๐
Hope this weeks facts were fun to read! Shall I continue this series? What bookish things do you want to know more about? Next week I will talk about the biggest and most successful books/ authors. Stay tuned!
This is so cute!! ๐

Haha love this post! And Iโm not shocked that the longest sentence ever written is in Les Miserables! Seems fitting that the longest sentence printed is in such a lengthy book! ๐
