π August was not a special month for me, typical reading and I am back to studying again for my license exam! At the beginning of the month, I created a TBR of 13 books which I thought was ambitious but I was more ambitious and finished 16 books with an average rating of 3.4π!
1- Infinity Son: 2 π
2- The Cardigans: 4 π

3- Scythe: 4.25 π (fav book of the month)

4- A Different Time: 4 π

5- Mooncakes: 3 π

6- After The Flood: 3.5 π

7- Syrian Brides: 3 π

8- Trail of Lightning: 4 π

9- The Silent Patient: 4 π

10- The Legend of Griffin: 4 π

11- Aurora Rising: 2 π

12- DarkDawn: 3.5 π

13- One Word Kill: 3.75 π

14- Rebel of the Sands: 3.75 π

15- Good Omens: 2 π (DNF)

16- Snow, Glass, Apples: 3.5 π

π So this month as you can see was a mix of a lot of disappointments and good surprises. There is not a 5 stars read but I think there will be one in September :D. How did your August go? tell me below!

Ooo a very good reading month! And I loved Rebel of the Sands!

Wow! 16 books? You’re my hero, Hamad! *lol*
It’s sad that none of them was a 5 star read though! I hope you’ll have plenty of them in September! I’ll cross my fingers for you. XD

What a busy month! You’ve read some pretty great (legitimately) and hyped books π Quite a few of these are on my TBR. I recently finished Scythe and completely agree with your rating for it! I was expecting it to be another hyped book that didn’t quite follow through but I loved it. I’m currently reading Aurora Rising and not too sure what I think of it yet. It hasn’t hooked me in so far. Great wrap-up! π

Thanks! With my medical license exam approaching I don’t think I will be able to read as much but I will try.
Also, I already posted it 15th of August, here is a link:

Shame about infinity son! I was curious about that, cos I like the author, but upon reading the blurb, I just wasn’t compelled to pick it up (and the early reviews aren’t making me want to change my mind). So glad you liked Scythe though- it’s a great book!

Scythe was so well written! I love Adam too but maybe he should stick to contemporaries as they sure were better and I heard he has many plans for this world!
