π I did not hear of this book before, I do not know the author, I did not know anything about it until Dave contacted me and asked if I wanted to be a part of The ultimate blog tour. It was short, it had a good cover, the synopsis sounds interesting and the rest is history.
π The synopsis kind of gave me βYour nameβ vibes if you know that anime movie and it is a really great one so check it out, this kind of had a more simple but similar synopsis, a girl and a boy communicates but more than 30 years apart!
π The story was really intriguing, I really cared about the characters and what would happen, so I found myself flying through this in 1 day. I really had no expectations but it exceeded those (makes zero sense, I know!).
π The book had a simple writing, I find books that involve time and space a little bit difficult to read and I need to be in the right mood and mind set, but this was really a light read.
π I have to criticize the Instalove in this one, it may be the fastest love I ever see in a book! I would rather call it a crush that we may have all gone through but calling it love is bit far stretched, I wonβt give too much because spoilers. But the characters themselves were good and three dimensional.
π Summary: This was a very enjoyable read and it was intriguing, the writing made sense and we had a nice closure to wrap everything up, if you hate instalove books, stay away from this one, but other than that, I recommend this as a quick nice read!
Synosis: Keith Nolan falls in love with a remarkable young woman from the past, talking to him on a home video she recorded in 1989. To keep their conversation going, he must find more of her tapesβwhile forces work against them both, and time is running out.

I’m glad you enjoyed this book, so did I!! But it did have a very fast insta-love. I liked it as I had never read anything like it before and I liked the character. Plus it was a very quick read.

Nice review. I liked how you made your points very concise. I understand what you mean about the insta-love and thought it could have been better developed, but it didn’t affect me here as much as normal…
