I am not one of those people who were fans for a long time of this series, I read it all in 3 months and loved the first 2 books, this one was not necessarily bad but it was disappointing because I expected this to become my new favorite trilogy!

I LOVE the Illuminae files! I was so excited for what this duo of authors have for us in their next collaboration and it is apparently disappointment.

I really wanted to love this and up to this moment I am still confused of why I did not! Did I read it at a wrong time or was it really not for me?

  1. It is always sad when a book disappoints. I heard a lot of mixed things about Aurora Rising but I still need to read the illuminae files. And Ninth House has had a mix of opinions too– I have the book I just need to read it so I will be curious to see what I will think. I’m sorry it didn’t live up to your expectation!!
