I finished all the released books in the Mistborn series ending with this one and I am such a large fan of it! This is a novella taking place during the events of the first trilogy but it should be read after the first trilogy as it contains major spoilers. It has minor spoilers for book 4 so it can be read after it but the important thing is finishing the main trilogy first.
I can’t go into details regarding the plot as I am keeping this spoiler free but I love a smart author and Sanderson is one of the smartest authors ever. He could enhance an already existent trilogy with a novella without feeling like he was milking it!!
The MC here is Kelsier so if you are a fan of him, you should not miss this book as it explains a lot of thing and adds character growth to already existent ones. I loved the hints of what’s to come and about the origins of the allomancy! Mythology is something I love very much and seeing this world’s mythology made me super happy.
Summary: A short story in the Mistborn world which just improves what we already know, Plot is all spoilers so I am skipping that but it has the awesome characters, plot and magic system that we are used to!
