I saw this tag done by Stephen at Stephen Writes blog and though he did not tag anyone in particular, he encouraged us to do it and I want to! Thanks Stephen for making me discover this and guys, check out his blog 😀
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
I mostly use GR to be read shelf but I also limit the number of books in it to 50 and the rest I have in my memory, it works for me because I just don’t want to be stressed.

Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?
I think it is a mix of both, I have 24 books I need to get into and I have almost the same number in physical books. I don’t know the exact numbers but I usually have more ebooks.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?
I usually prepare monthly TBRs every month and then pick up a book from this list according to my mood.

A book that’s been on your TBR the longest

According to GR it is “The Help” and I am still not in the mood to read it yet.

A book that you recently added to your TBR

A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover

Those days are over, I hardly pick books just because of the cover now but here is a book with a cover I like instead!

A book on your TBR that you NEVER plan on actually reading

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for

A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read except you

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you

A book on your TBR that you’re just dying to read

The number of books on your Goodreads TBR shelf
I always keep it 50 at GR but the actual number is probably 100 or 150!

I am not going to tag anyone, I am doing what Stephen did an if you like this then just do it!
Happy reading all!

I’m so impressed that you can keep your Goodreads TBR at 50 (or even 100 or 150)!

I get stressed easily so I have to live with that!

Me too! I’ve found my sweet spot at about 600 though. When it was at 1300 it made me so anxious.

I am trying to remove and read the current 50 so I can add new ones!

I don’t know! I just depend more on my memory when it comes to my TBR and my memory does not give books numbers! lol

Everyone is impressed by that xD

I love this and am so going to do this! Also, I’m kinda astounded you maintain your TBR at that number. My current count is 241 – according to my spreadsheet – and does not include the books in my head. I know. YIKES!

I just have to do that or live with much stress!
The problem is that I mostly read the books not on the tbr so same books have been on it for years and I am finally changing that!
